V-gel (V-gel)

General information

V-Gel is a Himalaya medicinal product known for its unique herbal formula. It is a potent immunostimulant, anti inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial agent. It is used to alleviate symptoms of vaginal swelling and itching. It helps to maintain a normal level of candida in the organism. V-Gel is effective against cervical erosion, endometriosis, malignancy, hemorrhoids, leukorrhea, vaginal trichomoniasis.

Directions

V-gel is a vaginal unguent medication used twice per day. The dosage intake covers 1 or 2 gms used with an applicator. V-gel is applied for 1 or 2 weeks in succession. It is possible to use it till the symptoms are entirely reduced. Always wash your applicator using a soap and warm water. Keep it dry.

Precautions

Notify your doctor or pharmacist that you are taking this medication. In case you are about to start taking new medications, tell your doctor or pharmacist that you are already taking V-gel. Follow your doctor's instructions about the type and amount of liquids, meals, food supplements and other medications you are allowed to take.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients having suffered from hepatic insufficiency, kidney disease.

Possible side effect

Generally this medication does not produce any severe side effects; however some patients suffered from nausea, tiredness, fever, and jaundice. It can cause urine color changing and eyes discoloration. This is not a complete list of all possible side effects. Others may occur in some people and there may be some side effects not known yet. In case you have experienced any side effect not listed above, immediately notify your doctor or local poison centre.

Drug interactions

Check with your doctor or pharmacist a list of additive contraceptive remedies you are allowed to use. Avoid using antacids.

Missed dose

In case you have missed your dose, take it as soon as you remember. If you see it is near the time for the next dose, skip taking the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Never double your dose.

Overdose

If you suspect overdosing, or suffer from any side effects not listed here, immediately look for medical help and consult your doctor.

Storage

This medication is stored in a cool dry place, away from sunlight, heat and moisture. Do not store it in the bathroom. Keep this product out of the reach of children and pets.
