General information
Directions
First off all consult with your doctor. The drug is available in tablets containing 2.5 mg of the active ingredient, letrozole. It can be taken with or without food with the glass of water. Take the medicine only as it was priscribed with proper dose by your doctor.
Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have severe liver disease. Your doctor may want to take special precautions while you are taking this medicine. Do not take Femara if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It may affect your baby if you take it while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medication can cause giddy.
Contraindications
Do not take Fempro if you are pregnant.
Side effects
Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any other medicines, foods,that can appeared through hives, rash, difficulty breathing, facial swelling and also hot flashes, headache, weight gain, nausea. Stop taking the medication and contact your doctor if adverse reactions listed above get worse.
Drug interaction
Use 20 mg dose once a day conducts to decrease in blood concentrations of letrozole. Tell your doctor about all medications, herbal products, food supplements and vitamins you take. Inform your doctor if you take other drugs to treat cancer.
Missed dose
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and use the medicine at your next regularly scheduled time. Do not use extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
Overdose
Intake of this drug doesn't create dangerous for life. Tell the doctor if you think use more of it.
Storage
Store your medicines at room temperature between 20-25 C (68-77 F). Store away from moisture and light. Do not store the drugs in the bathroom. Keep it out of the reach of children and away from pets.
